Dr. Ron Sauer, Preaching Pastor

Dr. Sauer, our Preaching and Interim Senior Pastor, is professor of Greek and English Bible at Moody Bible Institute. Dr. Sauer preaches and is available for counseling and visitation. Dr. Sauer ministered here at EFCW 14 years ago when we were between pastors. Many of our church family still recall his preaching and ministry during that interim period and we are blessed to have him here again.

Len Sabourin, Associate Interim Pastor

Len serves as part-time Associate Interim Pastor. He and his wife have been active members of EFCW for nearly 40 years. Len retired from teaching in June, 2006. He had only a brief time to enjoy the leisure of retirement before he took on the responsibilities of Associate Interim Pastor in November, 2006.

Taylor Swendsen, Director of Music and Fine Arts

Taylor came to us in May, 2007, from Seattle, Washington where he served as Pastor of Worship and Youth at United EFC. He was God's answer to our prayer for an Interim Director of Music and we were his answer to his prayer for God's provision as stepped out in faith by leaving his position in Seattle to attend Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Taylor is leading our worship and music ministries on a part-time basis while he is a student at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Jeremy Vale, Pastor of Student Ministries

Jeremy is our Pastor of Student Ministries. He has strong ties to EFCW. He was an active member of our 180o high school ministry while a student. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute. He and his wife ministered as adult shepherds with 180o during the 2006/07 school year.

Jesse Smith, Pastor of Children's Ministries

Jesse accepted our call to be our Children's Pastor at the end of March, 2008. Jesse, his wife Terri and their two sons, Kevin (age 4) and Alex (age 1) have relocated from College Park, Maryland where he served on the pastoral staff of Berwyn Baptist Church.
