Crown Financial Study Starts in January
People find it interesting that Jesus talked more about money than any other topic. Why? Did He know that we tend to put our secruity in money rather than in Him? Did He know that money is one of the leading issues in marital conflit?
What did Jesus teach about money and debt? The Crown Financial Study is a 10-lesson course on what the Bible teaches about money and debt. Not only is information presented, but there is homework that is reviewed in a small group setting.
Here are some comments by other people who have attended the course:
"I did not know that freedom from all debt was possible in this day and age. It has always been a goal of mine, but this taught me how to achieve it."
"I always knew these principles, but this class really put them in order for me."
"I learned that my focus is to be on God and not on the things of this world"
"This class increased my consciousness over the little expenses and how they added up over time."
Does this interest you? A new class is being formed that will begin in mid-January and run until mid-April. If you would like to study God's Word to learn about God's view of money, contact the Church office or Pastor Len. Visit crown.org to learn more about Crown Financial Ministries.
New Adult Bible Fellowship Sessions Kick Off in January
Adult Bible Fellowships meet from 9:45 to 10:45 on Sunday mornings, between the early and late morning services. These classes for adults offer a chance for fellowship and Bible study. There is a suggested age range for each group in order to allow you to meet people in the same stage of life. However, you are more than welcome to attend any of the classes. New studies are beginning in January.
- Guided Roots: On January 20, Pastor Len will begin leading a study on the life of Joseph.
- Strong Foundations: Chris Marx is teaching on Galatians.
- Faith Builders: Ed Raymond is leading a study on the subject of heaven.
