Everyone is invited to the Annual Church Pig Roast at Camp Hickory on Sunday, September 23.  Come out anytime on Sunday and enjoy 47 acres of woods and fields with plenty of activities.  Camp Hickory is a great place for activities, a leisurely walk or just sitting under the trees.  Plus, the wonderful smell of the pig roasting for 8 hours in a big barrel cooker. 

The "Just Over Yonder" Bluegrass Band will play on the front porch of the lodge, providing knee-slapping entertainment.  The cost for the Pig Roast is $6 for those age 10 and older; $3 for those 3-9 years old and free for those under $3.  Sign-up slips are available at the Welcome Center.  Questions? • Making coffee and serving punch.
• Helping people know where to place their food in the serving lines.
• Setting up tables and chairs.
• Cleaning up, washing dishes.
• Sign-In table; giving name tags.
• Cutting and serving cake.
